Our Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts tracks cover 26 subjects with nearly 650 hours of intensive hands-on instruction. Limited class sizes provide opportunities for one-on-one instruction and connection with peers. Our teaching labs are filled with a wide array of professional equipment and individual workstations to support your training — all from our downtown New Orleans campus.

Before our Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts students complete their 100-day certifications, they create a pop-up café as their capstone project. This original concept is dreamed up and executed entirely by the students as their culmination of everything they’ve learned at NOCHI.

100% of proceeds from every student pop-up benefit NOCHI’s Scholarship Fund, and you can donate by attending or click here to support from afar!

La Petite Grocery, a beloved institution in the vibrant culinary scene of New Orleans, is teaming up with the New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute to launch the La Petite Grocery Scholarship Fund, a beacon of hope for aspiring chefs and pastry artisans. This initiative aims to nurture the dreams of passionate individuals by providing annual, needs-based scholarships for students pursuing certificates in Culinary Arts or Baking & Pastry Arts.

Diageo Learning Skills for Life (LSFL) is a training program that opens career pathways in bartending and hospitality while providing life skills to members of our New Orleans community. LSFL provides specialized spirits industry skills and develops life skills to help program graduates land high-quality industry jobs within NOCHI and Diageo’s large network of employer partners. There is no cost to participate.


NOCHI seeks Accreditation with the Council on Occupational Education

New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute is applying to become a candidate for accreditation with the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education.
