Job Requirements: Bar Pomona is a small (25 seat) neighborhood restaurant in the Marigny. We offer a pleasant and relaxed working environment in a kitchen focused on simple European fare executed with care and attention to detail. We are looking to add a line cook to our small team with availability for 3 shifts to start (1 prep shift on Wednesday, 2 line shifts on Friday and Saturday) with the opportunity to expand into a full-time leadership role over time.
Previous restaurant experience required. Must be willing to share tasks with the team including some customer-facing support, re-stocking the line, completing prep sheets, and keeping your workspace and the restaurant tidy. Must be comfortable with a high level of ownership over the line during your shifts as we operate with only 1 cook per shift.
